An ode to Barnabus

It appears I have a neighour who keeps a duck for a pet.

Editor:

It appears I have a neighour who keeps a duck for a pet. I see this gigantic bird often as I pass by an apartment building very near to my home. It’s obvious that this duck is well fed.

I’ve written a poem inspired by the duck, hope that you’ll enjoy.

The Duck Quacks at Midnight by Wendy Welk

Barnabus the duck seems to lead a simple life
