Agologists, geologists, etc. are easily manipulated into getting their seal of approval, on the basis that they know that if they don't approve something, someone else will.

This is how developments such as Sandhills (Abbotsford) were allowed to progress, despite the fact that building rows of houses on top of each other on a sandhill is a disaster waiting to occur.

As to the ALR, it seems odd, that in the midst of an emerging global food shortage, that developers are manipulating loopholes for agriculture exclusion.
