William Whatcott is before the Supreme Court of Canada, facing a $17,500 fine from the Saskatoon Human Rights Commission. This is yet another case of the courts trying to assess what is hateful speech, and what is simply dialogue.

William Whatcott expressed views on homosexuality that some might be offended by, but can be spoken of in Canada. I hope the courts continue to uphold freedom of speech, and that Canadians see that if this court case goes against us then our freedom of speech will be gone from Canada.
