LETTER: Langley woman finds doll controversy inane

If Gollliwogs are racist, what exactly are Cabbage Patch dolls?

Dear Editor,

Reading your newspaper is often an exercise in forbearance, patience and tolerance for we heretics not adhering to the modern religion of anti-reality.

But every so often we do get a laugh; such as when its complete inanity was revealed by the people who took a courageous stand against a doll.

I do have one question though: If a Golliwog is racist, how do we explain Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy, not to mention that hideous creature known as Cabbage Patch?
