Maybe the traffic "geniuses" that opted to close one of Langley's busiest east-west roads, 56 Avenue for six months might have had the forethought to realize what a nightmare this would create at the Langley Bypass and the Fraser Hwy?
Even on a Saturday, traffic detouring eastbound was backed up into the north-south through lanes.
Maybe a "bit longer" advance left-turn light might be in order?
Maybe these geniuses could call in the Army to put in a Bailey bridge as well?
