Aldergrove Rugby Ggirls ready for 7’s tourney

Aldergrove girls team will be competing at the annual Rugby 7's Tournament at D.W. Poppy Secondary this Friday, April 29.

In high school girls’ rugby action against Coquitlam’s Charles Best Thursday, April 21, the Aldergrove Secondary team lost 48-15.

“The season’s going alright; it’s definitely a rebuilding year, trying to get the program up and running and back to the glory days. We have one win, against Terry Fox, and a bunch of losses, but we’re having fun,” said coach Stuart Crowley.

The Aldergrove girls team will be competing at the annual Rugby 7’s Tournament at D.W. Poppy Secondary this Friday, April 29.
