The Aldergrove Bruins are returning from the Friendship Hockey Tournament in Newcastle, Australia with third place honours.

The Bruins played nine games between March 21 and 28, winning six of them, for 12 points and a .666 average.

March 28 Cantebury Kiwis - Aldergrove Bruins, 0-4

March 27 Aldergrove Bruins - South Australia Kangaroos, 4-3

March 25 Hachinohe White Bear (Japan) - Aldergrove Bruins, 11-0

March 25 Cranbrook Colts (BC, CAN) - Aldergrove Bruins, 0-3

March 24 Ice Crocs (NSW) - Aldergrove Bruins, 1-5

March 23 Aldergrove Bruins - Victoria Gliders, 1-5

March 22 Aldergrove Bruins - Hudson Raiders (WS, USA), 4-3

March 22 Aldergrove Bruins - St. Paul Sioux (MN, USA), 4-7

March 21 Aldergrove Bruins - Southern Knights (New Zealand), 10-6

All games were played in the Hunter Ice Skating Stadium.

Hachinohe White Bear of Japan won all nine games for first place, followed by the St. Paul Sioux of Minnesota, USA,, with with eight wins.

Fourth were the South Australia Kangaroos, followed by the Ice Crocs (NSW), Victoria Gliders, Hudson Raiders (WS, USA), Cantebury Kiwis, Southern Knights (New Zealand), and the Cranbrook Colts (BC, CAN).
