Ambush win soccer Coastal Cup

Aldergrove Ambush played in the Coastal Cup final in Richmond and the Ambush were victorious with a 3-1 win over the CFC Royal97

On April 27, the U17 Aldergrove Ambush played in the Coastal Cup final in Richmond and the Ambush were victorious with a 3-1 win over the CFC Royal97 of the Coastal Football Club.

With the win in the Coastal Cup semifinals they have secured a place in the B.C. Soccer Provincial “B” Cup Championships which take place in Chilliwack, July 3-6.

The team’s key to success is the camaraderie developed between the players, and the ability to play as a strong team. The girls play for each other and really enjoy each other’s company.

With the Provincial Championships fast approaching they are keeping up with their weekly training sessions and looking forward to the challenges ahead of them.

Ambush are Hanna Gill, Kristiana Kamagianis, Janelle Stephens, Summer Jackson, Taylor Andresen, Jade Hik, Amaneet Ark, Tarndeep Chattu, Charndeep Chattu, Vanessa Mensah-Wilson, Shireen Kaur, Laura McNeil, Hanna Morris, Navdeep Rai, Julie McNeil, Kelsey Olsen, and Valerie Mensah-Wilson.

Thanks go to coaches Dave Stephens, Bob Singh, Kulwant Rai, and to Brian Hunter for his training sessions.
