Aldergrove Her-icanes’ Victoria Ross threw the honorary first pitch at the B.C. Bantam A Baseball Tournament in Aldergrove Athletic Park on Wednesday, July 31, as tournament hosts, the Aldergrove Dodgers watch.

Victoria and her sister Christina are on the U-13 Her-icanes team which is playing in the Western Peewee Championships this coming week in Alberta.

The Her-icanes U-15 bantam team played in the B.C. championships at Aldergrove and made it to the semi-finals, where they were defeated by the Cloverdale Spurs. The Campbell River Tyees went on to defeat Cloverdale for the championship.

Aldergrove Athletic Park will also host the Western Canada Bantam AAA Baseball Championships on August 15-19.
