More than a third of the Harold Brittain Conference all-star team is made up of members of the Adergrove Kodiaks

The stellar play of the conference-leading Aldergrove Kodiaks has not gone unnoticed.

More than a third of the Harold Brittain Conference all-star team is made up of members of the Kodiaks, including the junior B hockey club's top five scorers.

The coaching team of the Aldergrove Kodiaks will also coach the Harold Brittain conference all-star team.

The players will skate against their counterparts from the Tom Shaw Conference in the Pacific International Junior Hockey League's all-star game on January 16 at the Mission Leisure Centre.

Selected from the Kodiaks were forwards Thomas Hardy, Colton Precourt, Adam Rossi, Brandon Potomak, Matt Luongo and Jordan Pughe, as well as defenceman Robby Jang and goaltender Ross Baadsvik.

Hardy sits third in league scoring with 19 goals and 26 assists while Baadvik is second in save percentage at .933 and sixth in goals against at 2.80.

As a team, the Kodiaks lead the conference at 20-7-1-1 for 42 points.

Pughe, the team captain, is from Langley.

Precourt and Potomak are from Aldergrove.

Another Langley hockey player, Kevan Kilistoff, will skate for the Tom Shaw Conference.

Kilistoff, a rookie, is a forward for the league-leading Richmond Sockeyes.

He is seventh in league scoring with 15 goals and 38 points in 29 games, which is also good for second among rookies.
