Girls U11 and U12 soccer tryouts in early March

Langley United Youth Soccer Association will be holding player evaluations in early March for girls born 2001 (U12) and 2002 (U11)

Langley United Youth Soccer Association will be holding player evaluations in early March for girls born 2001 (U12) and 2002 (U11) who will compete in the soccer season starting in September. This evaluation is for the select Langley teams at these age groups.

The U11 evaluations will be held on March 5 and 7 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Willoughby Turf while the U12 evaluations will be held on March 6 and 8 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., also at Willoughby.

“Our U11 and U12 girls programs will mirror our highly respected boys program in terms of format and training programs that follow the CSA’s Long Term Player Development guidelines,” said Langley United president Betty Boucas.

“Girls will be placed into player pools with the opportunity to advance depending on performance, commitment and attendance. This format has been very well received by our boys and parents and we expect the girls will enjoy the challenge of developing their skills under our professional paid coaches,” adds Boucas.

Once the season starts, players will train three times per week with a game on the weekend. All players interested are requested to complete the online registration at www.luysa.com and do need to attend both sessions for their age group. No registration fee is required.
