Shane Garland from the Aldergrove Skating Club and Alexa Linden from the Inlet Skating Club captured the Gold Medal in the Pre-Novice Dance event at the 2012 Skate Canada BC/YT Sectionals in Kelowna on November 10-13.
The duo skated an exciting, fun-packed free dance to a "Grease" theme, securing the Gold with a four point lead.
On November 30th, Shane and Alexa will be travelling to Regina to compete in the 2012 Skate Canada Challenge Competition, where they will strive to be crowned the Pre-Novice Dance champions of Canada. Aldergrove Skating Club wishes them the best of luck and a great skate.
