The Aldergrove Bantam A1 Bruins participated in the Abbotsford Bantam Western Classic Tournament this past weekend.

Although the Bruins didn’t come out their strongest they pulled together in the end to place first in their pool.

The team played a well fought game against their rivals, the Cloverdale Colts.

It truly was anyone’s game, but the Bruins battled through to take home the Gold in overtime.

It was a great tournament, encompassing the true spirit of sportsmanship.

Thanks go out to the tournament organizers and all the parents for their support.
