Aldergrove defeated the North Vancouver Wolf Pack 7-5 in an away game Saturday evening.

The Wolf Pack had been leading 2-1 in the first period and 4-2 in the second, but the Kodiaks completely dominated the third period for the win.

Kodiak Cameron Davitt opened the scoring in the first, assisted by Eric Callegari and Erik Bocale, at 6:31.

Bocale scored the first goal of the second period, from Jacob De Waal, at 5:30.

In the third Callegari scored first, unassisted, followed by Quinncy Leroux on a power play with assists from Davitt and Derian White, with the third marker from Davitt from Leroux.

The Wolf Pack’s Marcus Kwon scored their only goal of the period, before Davitt and Leroux closed the game with another pair of goals. Callegari assisted both of these goals, with one assist each from Leroux and Davitt, for the 7-5 win.

Davitt and Peroux were the game’s first and second stars. The Kodiaks outshot the Wolf Pack 40-26.

The Kodiaks only scored on one of four power plays, however, while the Wolf Pack scored on three of six.

In the Harold Brittain conference, the Kodiaks and Flames have five wins and one loss each for 10 points apiece, followed by Abbotsford with eight points, Mission with five and Surrey with zero.

The Kodiaks host the Mission Outlaws Sept. 28, 7:15 p.m., and travel to Abbotsford to face the Pilots on Friday, Sept. 30.
