The Aldergrove Kodiaks took their seventh straight win Wednesday evening at Aldergrove Arena, with a 4-2 win over the visiting North Vancouver Wolf Pack.

The result improves the Kodiaks to 56 points after 34 games, with a league-leading 28 wins and six losses in the regular season.

The Kodiaks were up 2-0 at the end of the first period, 3-1 at the end of the second, and 4-2 for the win.

Dawson Rodin was between the pipes for the Kodiaks and stopped 21 of 23 shots on his net.

Kodiak Matt Oliver scored two of the first three goals against to earn him the game's first star. Sam Bodnaruk scored the second goal and was second star of the night, while Jacob De Waal scored the final goal on a power play and Cameron Davitt was game third star.

Kodiaks assists came from Cameron Davitt (3), Oliver, Davin Padgham (2), Bodnaruk, and Joshua Poitras.

The Kodiaks outshot the Wolf Pack 42-23 and scored on one of five power plays while the Wolf Pack failed to score on four power plays.

Next up for the Kodiaks is a trip to Maple Ridge Jan. 13 to play the Ridge Meadows Flames, and away at Ladner Jan. 17 to play the Delta Ice Hawks. The Kodiaks' next home game is Wed., Jan. 18, 7:15 p.m. at Aldergrove Arena versus the Abbotsford Pilots.
