The Aldergrove Kodiaks took a 2-5 loss to the North Vancouver Wolf Pack, Saturday at the Harry Jerome Rec Centre.
The Kodiaks showed some spark in the first period with Kyle Bosko tying the game at 1-1 late in the period, assisted by Jesse Conroy and Tyler Cannon.
The Kodiaks briefly took the lead early in the second period, with Haden Vetterl scoring, assisted by Dayton Spink and Jordan Desrossiers.
However, the Wolf Pack mad the best of a pair of power plays to reverse the lead, followed by another goal to lead 4-2.
The Wolf Pack scored the third period’s only goal just 30 seconds in for the 5-2 win.
Both teams had five power plays each, with only the Wolf Pack scoring on two of them. The Wolf Pack also outshot the Kodiaks 35-30.
