Friday’s Family Fun Night at Parkside Centennial elementary school offered all kinds of games and activities, while raising funds for a new outdoor playground at the school.
There were bouncy castles, hoops and a special guest: Abbotsford AHL Heat mascot Hawkey and centre Matt Keith met fans at Parkside’s gym.
Keith attended the school in his youth and started his hockey career with Aldergrove Minor Hockey Association.
