Aldergrove Peewee C1 Royals are the champions after winning the tournament held in Chase, Jan. 27-29.

The Aldergrove Peewee C1 Royals are the champions after winning the tournament held in Chase, Jan. 27-29.

The Royals played five games that weekend to win gold. They first took a 9-6 win over Semiahmoo, followed by an 8-6 loss to Okanagan.

They went on to defeat Vernon 11-2 and Chilliwack 8-4, which put them up against Williams Lake in the gold game, which was an 8-0 win for Aldergrove.

Players are Slatts Gregory, Darnel Walton, Dereck Hua, Wyatt Shore, Aiden Grant, Avery Leake, Hudson Koch, Sami Takahashi, Max Takahashi, Logan Edwards, Nicholas Noort and Ansh Sandhu, along with goalie Brennen Fryer.

Head coach is Mike Grant, assistants are Alf Leake and Cary Gregory and team manager is Nicole Shore.
