The Langley Rivermen made a pair of moves, trading forward Kody Dhallwal to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks and Brandon Scholten to the Surrey Eagles.

The Rivermen receive future considerations in both transactions.

Scholten, an 18-year-old forward, came to Langley from the Western Hockey League.

He is from Langley and played his minor hockey in Aldergrove.

Last season, he had two goals and two assist in 22 games.

Dhaliwal, who is from Surrey, played three seasons for the Langley junior A hockey club, registering 12 goals and 25 assists in 113 games. He had 29 points in 59 games last year as a third-line winger.

The 20-year-old enters his final year of junior hockey in the fall.
