Soccer champ Janelle Stephens wins scholarships

Janelle Stephens, 18, received two major soccer scholarships from Aldergrove Youth Soccer

Janelle Stephens, 18, received two major soccer scholarships from Aldergrove Youth Soccer vice president Rob Wilson (right) and BC Soccer board member Don Dauncey (left) Monday, June 15 at Aldergrove Athletic Park.

The Nathan Regier and Don Dauncey scholarships will assist the Abbotsford Traditional school graduate undertake applied biology studies this fall at UBC.

Stephens has been enrolled in Aldergrove soccer since age five and has gone to play in top teams as well as coach and referee for the game here.
