The Aldergrove Kodiaks are in trouble.

The junior B hockey team finds itself down two games to none in the PJHL championship series after the Richmond Sockeyes scored five unanswered goals to defeat the Kodiaks 6-4 in game two.

It was played at Richmond's Minoru Arena on March 20 with game three set for the same venue March 23. The Kodiaks will host game four on March 26 at the Aldergrove Arena.

Aldergrove looked to be in good shape in game two after Scott McHaffie made it a 4-1 game 4:55 into the second period.

But Cole Plotnikoff and Liam Lawson struck to make it 4-3 and then Plotnikoff and John Wesley scored in the third to give Richmond its first lead.

Ayden MacDonald scored into the empty net to round out the scoring.

The first period saw McHaffie and Cameron Davitt put Aldergrove ahead 2-0 before Daniel Oakley got the Sockeyes on the board. Aaron Marker then made it 3-1 before intermission.

The Sockeyes won game one by a 7-1 score at the Aldergrove Arena.
