Vancouver Stealth home opener set for Jan. 11

Fans will get their first chance to watch National Lacrosse League action at Langley Events Centre when the Stealth host Minnesota

The Vancouver Stealth will begin their inaugural season in Langley on the road.

The Stealth will open their 18-game National Lacrosse League season on Jan. 4 against the Colorado Mammoth, at the Pepsi Center in Denver.

The Stealth will play their home opener at the Langley Events Centre the following week, Jan. 11, when they welcome the Minnesota Swarm to town.

The Stealth are playing their first season in Langley after relocating this past off-season from Everett, Wash.

The regular season wraps on April 26.

Vancouver released the team’s full 2013/14 schedule on its website, with three Canadian teams coming to Langley this season.

The Toronto Rock will visit on Apr. 5, 2014, the Edmonton Rush will visit on Jan. 25, and the Calgary Roughnecks will visit on Mar. 21 and Apr. 26.
