The Meadow Ridge Knights put an end to the North Langley Bears run at perfection.

The Knights defeated the Bears 46-38 on Saturday at McLeod Athletic Park in the junior bantam championship final for the Valley Community Football League.

The Bears were the league’s regular season champions, going 7-0, including a pair of wins over Meadow Ridge (5-2) during the regular season.

The game was one of three championship finals held at MAP.

In the atom final, it was the Abbotsford Falcons Black team defeating Meadow Ridge 56-32.

And in the peewee championship, it was Abbotsford Falcons White beating Meadow Ridge 14-6.
