Team Morris have officially punched their ticket to the Brier.

The team, hailing from Vernon and Kelowna, defeated the Golden Ears Curling Club's Team Joanisse 6-3 to win the BC Men's Curling Championship at the Abbotsford Curling Club on Sunday.

Skip John Morris, Third Jim Cotter, Second Tyrel Griffith, lead Rick Sawatsky and coach Jody Epp stole two points in the sixth end, which put them up 5-2 and they didn't look back.

Team Morris now qualifies for the Tim Hortons Brier, which runs from March 4 to 12 in St. John's, NL.
