VIDEO: OT win for Junior A Langley Rivermen

Persistence pays off

It took two periods of overtime for the Junior A Langley Rivermen to post a 2-1 win against the Chilliwack Chiefs Saturday night in action at the George Preston arena in Langley.

Sean Gulka ended the impasse early in the second OT period.

Eric Butte scored the first Rivermen goal in the first period, and Powell Connor replied for the Chiefs in the third.

The Langley team’s next game is Nov. 16 against Coquitlam at George Preston at 7 p.m.
