Langley FC announce that long-time Langley FC player Carley Radomski has been added as a defender to the Vancouver Whitecaps FC U-18 Girls Elite program.

Radomski is joining the Whitecaps FC after a long and highly successful soccer tenure at Langley FC where she was a rep player, an MVP several times, and part of the BC Soccer Provincial Team program at the U-13, U-14 and U-15 levels achieving many awards and accolades over the years.

More recently, Radomski was playing with Magnuson Ford Mariners FC U-18 girls in the EA SPORTS BCSPL of which Langley FC is a partner with Magnuson Ford Mariners FC.

This marks the first time that a player from the EA SPORTS BC Soccer Premier League (BCSPL) has joined the Whitecaps FC Girls Elite program.

It’s no surprise that the first player pulled from the EA SPORTS BC Soccer Premier League to joined the Whitecaps FC Girls Elite program came from Langley FC as the club is known for developing successful players who have gone on to receive scholarships to play at college or university, join other senior club teams, and even play with the Team Canada national team.

Additionally, Radomski has recently been named to Canada’s U-17 women’s national team camp in preparation for the upcoming 2012 CONCACAF Women's Under-17 Championship, which runs from May 2 to 13 in Ciudad Guatemala, Guatemala.

"We are delighted that Carley has been recognized by the Whitecaps FC and also by the Canadian Soccer Association U-17 staff after all her many years of hard work and exceptional play at Langley FC and more recently with Magnuson Ford Mariners FC in the Premier League," said Shaun Mason, Langley FC Technical Director.

"Carley’s success is further testimony to Langley FC’s ongoing success at developing exceptional soccer players," Mason added.

Langley FC is Langley’s most successful community soccer club offering girls, boys, women and men of all ages and abilities high quality soccer programs in recreational and competitive levels.
