Want to do something fun? Come join 4-H because you will have lots of fun, learn a lot and do many cool things in a family-friendly club that promotes healthy, active, social, community living through a wide variety of fun and interesting projects.
Our club has members who participate in one or more of the following projects: outdoor living (camping/hiking), photography and rabbits but we are also open to kids who would like to participate with horses or guinea pigs.
We have two meetings a month. The first Wednesday of each month we talk about upcoming events and plan events. On the third Wednesday of each month we participate in fun activities and learn new things.
4-H members can also participate in fun activities such as speeches, demonstrations, educational displays and speak-and-shows. We also help others in your club and community and meet new friends from our community and around the province.
The best thing is that 4-H members can go to fairs all throughout the summer, including PNE. How cool is that?
All of us at 4-H think it’s pretty fun and interesting. We think you should join because it’s fun and awesome and you can make many new friends and just have a good time.
It’s easy to become a part of 4-H by joining our club. Junior Members for 9 to 12 year olds, Senior Members for 13 to 19 year olds, and we also offer special projects for 20 to 25 year olds. Check us out and you will be sure to find a project to suit you.
Our club, Glen Valley 4-H Club hosted an Open House on April 1 at Harmsworth Hall in Langley (7170 - 232 Street, Langley).
