Langley residents are asked to bring bottles and cans to the Langley Events Centre this Saturday, in memory of six-year-old Keian Blundell who died of cancer on New Year’s Day.
All the money raised from Keian’s Bottle Drive will help families affected by childhood cancer. The Blundells will be there and are hoping the community comes together again like it has before. The Team Keian bottle drive is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the north parking lot.
On top of the bottle drive, the Blundells have started Keian’s Holiday Wish Toy Drive to carry on Keian’s legacy of bringing toys to sick children at B.C. Children’s Hospital and Canucks Place Children’s Hospice.
Toys can be dropped off at Keian’s former preschool, at West Langley Elementary.
