On June 4, one very lucky Otter Co-op customer will be driving home in one of the most popular cars in the world.
The shiny new 2011 Honda Civic is the grand prize in Otter Co-op's "Shop Locally and Win" contest, running now. The car is valued at approximately $24,000 and is one of the safest, most fuel efficient and comfortable automobiles on the market. It is also made in Canada.
Otter Co-op customers are invited to shop for their chance to win the car. For every $50 spent in the store's shopping centre on 248 Street by June 4, customers will receive an entry form.
Food Division Manager Mike Senger said customers are jumping with excitement at the prospect of winning a new car.

"This is another amazing way for Otter Co-op to support our local community; we appreciate our customers and want to give back," he said.
Since establishing itself in Aldergrove nearly 90 years ago, Otter Co-op has played an integral role in the community. In the past year alone, Otter Co-op has given over $115,000 to community charities and causes.
Usually big in-store promotions like these are done nationally. However, Otter Co-op has taken the opportunity to make this promotion available to its local customers and community.
"This is just Otter [Co-op], it isn't a national opportunity. The winner will be one of our own," said Co-op spokesperson Bev Dornan.

"We're celebrating our success, so come join us and possibly win a car."
The shiny red car greets customers as they enter the shopping centre, so come down and have a look.
In addition to the entry forms received at the time of purchase, you can log onto www.ottercoop.com and download an entry form to mail into the store; just make sure to include a required hand drawn UPC code. For any additional details, please visit the shopping centre or Otter Co-op's website.
