Cancer Society volunteers are selling daffodils and pins at Otter Co-op and other locations during April, Cancer Month in Canada. Founded 75 years ago, the society has helped improve the cancer survival rate from 25 per cent in the 1940s to 60 per cent today. Daffodils have been part of the society’s campaign since the 1950s.
