Pioneer Park’s knitters are looking for donations of wool for the club’s work.

Aldergrove Neighbourhood Services express heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to a special group of women from the Knitting Club at Pioneer Park in Aldergrove for their generous donations of knitted clothing to the youth and families supported by the agency.

The knitting club at Pioneer Park started back in 2011 when a large amount of wool was donated by one of the member’s family. Since that donation, another member of the club was able to bring in a donation of wool from an Aldergrove resident who wanted his wife’s wool collection to go to a good cause after she passed away.

The Pioneer Park knitting club continues to make beautiful articles of clothing from donated wool, however, they are starting to run out. If you would like to donate wool or knitting supplies to the knitting club at Pioneer Park please contact Rolande at 604-856-2838.
