On Oct. 31 Gwen and Don Lee celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with family and friends at their home in Penticton.
The couple were pioneers of Langley and owned a jewellery store called Lee’s Jade & Opals on 232nd Street for many years.
They lived in Langley for over 60 years and moved to Penticton in 2016 to be closer to family.
Gwen’s parents’ home, next door to the couple’s home on 232nd, was the first hospital in Langley. Her brother Jack Roberts resided there until he passed away in March 2018.
Their friends, previous customers, and family congratulate them.
