The Texas4000 team stopped off in Aldergrove last week in their trek from Texas to Alaska “to beat cancer.”
The Texas4000 cyclists against cancer were blown away with Canadian hospitality, said Gloria Fama of Aldergrove.
“They expressed a big thanks to all the businesses in Aldergrove who donated cash for their evening meal, for those who came to the park to hear their presentation, for the hospitality of St. Dunstans’ church, and to the billets who took them into their homes Thursday night. They left early the next day to continue their ride to Alaska, spreading the word that cancer can be beaten.”
