Light up Parade and Christmas Party: Family festivities start at 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 16 in the plaza, 272nd Street and Fraser Highway. In addition to live entertainment, there’s hot dogs and juice from the Aldergrove Rotary Club, the Elks with hot chocolate and popcorn, a North Pole mailbox for people to write to Santa, a photo booth, giveaways, and donations accepted for the food bank. Free admission. After the party, the parade starts at 6 p.m. and goes along Fraser Highway from 270th to 273rd Streets.
