Halloween haunts around Langley

Scare up some fun by touring around to fun displays

The scary season is here and there’s a growing list of local places to visit for a good fright.

• LEPS Pumpkin Walk is Saturday, Oct. 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Derek Doubleday Arboretum, 21177 Fraser Hwy. Tour pumpkin lined paths and learn about nocturnal animals. Make a bat craft. People encouraged to bring flashlight or headlamp. Free admission but people asked to bring a donation for the Langley Food Bank (money or non-perishable food). Info: 604-546-0344.

• Spooktacular Light Show: Perfection Cleaning, 26965 26th Ave., has a light show and photo booth open daily 6 to 9:30 p.m.

• Brinkworth Dungeon, 22260 48th Ave. Open 7 to 10 p.m. daily until Nov. 5. Tickets online at brinkworthdungeon.com.

• Halloween Town, 20503 43rd Ave., open 9 a.m,. to 10 p.m. daily until Halloween.

• 20294 50 Ave.

• 19765 70 Ave., open 5 to 7 p.m. for younger crowd and 7 to 10 for braver folks.

• Haunted House Langley, 8156 211th St.

• Halloween of Yorkson, 209A Street in the area of 83rd Avenue. Several houses participate.
