The spine-tingling and spooky tours at the Fort Langley National Historic Site start Friday, Oct. 13, the scariest day of the month.

Join expert historic site storytellers for two- or three-hour walking tours of Fort Langley as participants stroll the village at night, popping into the village’s various cemeteries and stopping at homes and buildings where unusual incidents took place.

The historic site gathered up local ghost and ghoul stories from residents and present those during the tour, changing up the content annually and depending on the audience.

There’s the regular two-hour adult tour which goes 7 to 9 p.m. and 8 to 10 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The cost is $31.58 per person.

The youth edition is 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets are $24.59 per person.

There’s also a three-hour adult edition that costs $44.97, and runs Fridays through Sundays between 9 p.m. and midnight.

People need to book in advance for the popular tours which this year will go Oct. 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28 and 29.

Tickets can be booked through the historic site website, parks.canada.ca/lhn-nhs/bc/langley/activ/calendrier-calendar.
