The Valley Festival Singers present their concert entitled “Handel’s Messiah,” at Bakerview Church, at 2285 Clearbrook Rd., this Saturday and Sunday.
Accompanied by pianist Betty Suderman and special guest singers Laura Pudwell and Ray Harris, the concert will be conducted by Tony Funk and will also feature a chamber orchestra.
The choir started 30 years ago, under choral conductor Rudy Baerg, and now includes 60 singers aged between 16 to 63.
Shows are at 7:30 p.m., Dec. 2 & 3. Tickets are $20 for adults, and $5 for students and can be purchased at the House of James, at 2743 Emerson St., and at the door.
