A long-time Fraser Valley resident has been appointed president of Envision Financial.

Tamara Hendsbee of Cultus Lake has spent the last decade of her 35-year banking career with Envision Financial in various senior leadership roles, most recently as vice-president of operations and advisory experience for all of First West Credit Union.

“Tamara has a long history of leading high-performing teams, with a laser focus on creating value and positive experiences for our members,” says Susan Ewanick, First West’s chief member officer.

“We’re committed to local decision-making for our members and they can count on Tamara to have their best interests always at the forefront.”

As president, Hendsbee will focus on leading Envision Financial’s personal, business and commercial banking teams.

“As a financial co-operative, our goal is to ensure that no one gets left behind – financial well-being is for everyone,” she said.

“We have a great team here at Envision Financial, and they’re locked in to providing meaningful advice that makes a difference in members’ lives and they’re dedicated to working with local organizations focused on bettering our communities.”

Envision Financial is a division of First West Credit Union, B.C.’s third largest credit union with 46 branches throughout the province. The head office is located in Langley.
