Langley Minor Hockey Association unveils new look

Part of 50th anniversary ‘rebranding’

Langley Minor Hockey Association has unveiled a new look for their 50th season, saying they are modernizing their brand, at the same time as paying homage to their history.

The rebranding initiative announced by the LMHA includes a new colour palette, new logos, new jersey design, uniforms, and apparel, as well as programs to improve skills and opportunities, all-new rep programming that aims to provide consistency across all levels, redefined tournaments and membership events, “and a few surprises to be released as the season unfolds,” according to Shelley Rosner LMHA VP, administration.

“We are very excited to celebrate 50 years of LMHA,” Rosner said.

“This rebranding initiative has been a huge undertaking and LMHA would like to thank the 50th season committee and the board of directors for their efforts. We hope that our athletes will embrace the rebrand and continue to make us proud both on and off the ice.”

Rosner also thanked White Canvas Design Agency, Laga Sports and The Hockey Shop for their “invaluable” assistance.

An LMHA statement said the changes mark a “significant milestone,” calling it a “comprehensive transformation [that] encompasses the past, present, and future of the association and is set to redefine LMHA’s presence in the community.”

Langley Minor Hockey Association, home of the Eagles since 1973, is a non-profit, community focused minor hockey organization and a member of both Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey (PCAHA) and BC Hockey.
