Langley Rivermen fans could win free admission to Sunday’s season ender, if they’re in the stands Saturday evening, and the Rivermen lose.

It’s called a Guaranteed Win Night for fans, affectionately known as Riv Nation, explained director of operations Shane Muche.

“This Saturday we will host the Nanaimo Clippers at 5 p.m.… If Rivermen lose, everyone in attendance will receive a free ticket to Sunday’s game,” he elaborated, noting Sunday’s final game of the regular season is against the Surrey Eagles.

The concluding game is the Rivermen’s fan appreciation day, with the puck dropping at 2:30 p.m.

“Every fan through the door [on Sunday, March 24] receives a 2023/24 team photo courtesy of University Printers. And hold on to those team photos, because the entire Riv team will be in the lobby after the game to give autographs and thank you for being the amazing fans you’ve been all season!” Muche said.

Tickets for both games at George Preston arena this weekend are available at the door, or online.

While there are still two final games in the Rivermen’s regular season this weekend, the team has already clinched a playoff spot. They did so last weekend, when they beat the Victoria Grizzlies in overtime 6-5.
