The Langley Extreme Weather Response Plan provides additional space in shelters to be made available to the homeless.
Given the current cold weather, the homeless are asked to go to the Salvation Army’s Gateway of Hope, 5787 Langley Bypass.
People are also asked that if they come across homeless people to let them know that the shelter is there for them to use in cold weather.

After 9 p.m., homeless people should get in touch with the RCMP at (604) 532-3200.
The Gateway shelter is accepting clean blankets and coats, but not comforters or bedspreads.
