Friends of the family of Abbotsford stabbing victim Letisha Reimer, 13, have created a GoFundMe page to raise money to help with expenses.

From the GoFundMe post: “On November 1st 2016 in the city of Abbotsford the Reimer Family suffered the greatest loss imaginable. Their vibrant beautiful daughter was taken from them in an extremely violent and unforseen attack. We, the friends, are trying to do the only thing we can and that is to try our very best to raise some funds in hopes of allowing the family ample  time to focus on nothing but healing. Money raised will go towards daily expenses that would normally be covered by wages. Nobody should have to worry about bills at a time like this. We ask that if you cannot support financially that you PLEASE keep everyone in your prayers. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to anyone who has helped.”

Reimer was killed after what investigators called a “random act of violence” at Abbotsford Senior Secondary on Tuesday.

The other victim stabbed, a 14-year-old friend of Reimer’s, remains in hospital in recovery.

Gabriel Brandon Klein has been charged with one count of murder and one count of aggravated assault.
