Holiday traffic along Highway 1 in Abbotsford was backed up on Monday afternoon after two incidents occurred west of the Mt. Lehman Road interchange.
A westbound truck ended up in the ditch at around noon. A few minutes later, a multi-vehicle collision took place in the same area, blocking the left westbound lane.
Reports indicated that three to five cars were involved in the crash. No serious injuries were reported.
As of 1:30 p.m., traffic was backed up almost to Clearbrook Road and was moving at a crawl.
No further details were available.
Highway 1 has been the scene of several crashes this year.
