The Township of Langley, in partnership with the Province of BC’s New Spaces Fund (NSF), wants to gather input from people across the Township to assist in the location of potential new child care facilities.
The Township of Langley’s Child Care Action Plan addresses the need for more quality child care spaces across the Township. In pursuit of expanding child care services in the Township, the Child Care Action Plan identifies actions to leverage provincial capital funding (Action E) and to transform underused spaces (Action F).
Provincial funding is available for the construction of child care facilities located on Township lands. Township park lands have been selected for further study and public feedback.
