HOVDE, Oddvar Johannes "Ed", passed away suddenly on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at his home in Aldergrove, B.C. He was 83 years of age. Ed is survived by Marthe, his loving wife of 57 years; his children, Nels (Linda), Ann (Mike), Marilyn (Rob) and Marian (Brad); his grandchildren, Katrina, Cole, Conor, Leandra, Ross and Freya. He leaves, also, his brother, Bjorn, nieces, nephews and friends. Ed was happiest on his farm and he died doing what he loved best. He was dearly loved by his family and he will be sadly missed. Visitation for family and friends will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, Feb. 4th in the chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 27555 31 Ave., in Aldergrove, followed by a graveside service at Fort Langley Cemetery, at 2:00 pm.
