In Loving Memory ~

It is with tremendous sadness that we say, "Dad is gone."

He lived an amazingly healthy and happy 90 years and three months. He was pre-deceased by Mom 8 years ago, after 60 years of marriage, and 9 years ago by son Bruce, which was terribly difficult for both Mom and Dad.

Despite these losses, Dad continued his happy-go-lucky life, always looking on the bright side, enjoying his social life and simple pleasures.

The last five and a half years, he lived at Langley Seniors Village, and we would like to thank all of the staff, from the bottom of our hearts, for their loving care of Dad, especially through the pandemic and these last, more difficult months.

Dad is survived by five children and three sons-in-law, as well as 18 grandchildren and an astonishing 25 great-grandchildren. He was very proud of his family and loved telling people those numbers right up to his final days.

Please join us to celebrate our Dad, Grandpa and GGPa, a truly lovely person, on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the Fort Langley cemetery, with a light lunch to follow at the St. Andrews United Church hall.

We gratefully decline flowers.
