William Karol Pidruczny
June 6,1921- August 7, 2013
William was born in Vancouver, BC, to Wasyl and Paulina Pidruczny. He was predeceased by his beloved sister, Olga Murray-Ure.
He was known to all as Uncle Billy. This name speaks deeply to his gentle, intuitive, and ever curious nature. He had an innate understanding of all things electronic and a passion for classical music. He spent his life working on the family dairy farm in Aldergrove. Uncle Billy always had a German shepherd dog as his close companion. Each successive dog was named either Tiger or Bear and he loved each as if they were one.
He is survived by his nieces Kathleen Murray-Ure and her husband Rod Burlinson, who was one of Uncle Billy's best friends; and Babs Murray-Ure.
"Glorify me with the glory I had with you before the world was".
At Uncle Billy's request there will not be a service. His ashes will be interred at his father's grave site. Family requests no flowers. Donations may be made to Union Gospel Mission or the BC Cancer Society.
