In Loving Memory ~
On a very chilly winter day, we said farewell to a remarkable soul, Willo Marina Littley, on January 13, 2024. Born on a small farm in Richard, Saskatchewan on November 16, 1934, Willo's journey through life was a testament to courage, kindness, and unwavering strength.
She moved with her parents to British Columbia in 1936 during the depression years and settled in New Westminster. In 1962, she married the love of her life, Knud ('Bud') Budde and in 1964, gave birth to her only child Alan.
Bud passed away in 1988 after a long illness and Willo remarried Don Littley. Don passed away in 2010.
Despite the challenges that life presented, Willo approached every adversity with grace and resilience.
Willo leaves behind her son, Alan Budde and spouse (Christina) and many friends from the Y Wanderers and Avalon Gardens senior residence.
Forever in our hearts, Willo will be fondly remembered for her spirit, humour and generosity. A private gathering with family and friends will be held in the spring.
