There will be a town hall meeting at Bradner Hall, 5305 Bradner Rd. in West Abbotsford on Tuesday, July 10 at 7 pm.
We expect it to be a very lively meeting as the City of Abbotsford is supposed to be answering questions regarding the very contentious Rural Uplands Drainage Tax and the proposed removal of a good chunk of the community of Bradner from the ALR. The land would be used for industrial purposes, which would basically spell an end to our community.
The City of Abbotsford is already taking over and bullying their way into taking charge of the meeting which was supposed to be moderated and conducted by our citizens advocacy group, with mayor, councillors and staff attending to answer our questions.
