Boy’s senior midfielder Connar Abrams of Aldergrove was among the players coached by Simon Fraser University men’s lacrosse head coach Brent Hoskins and SFU assistant coach Luke Genereux in the Burnaby Mountain Selects (BMS) Senior Elite fall touring team.
They travelled to Baltimore, Maryland, Nov. 2-8 to compete at the Fall Lax Invitational Tournament, a top recruiting event hosted by Hall of Fame Head Coach Dave Cottle.
Competing in a recruitment showcase format against top club teams from Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Ontario, the Senior Selects displayed their talents in front of over 100 NCAA college coaches and recruiters, posting an overall record of two wins, three losses and a tie, including a win and a tie over fellow Canadians, Edge Elite Senior/Junior (Ontario).
